My name is Cornelis Heger, and I have been living on Crete since 2008, mainly in Analipsi on the island’s north coast.
I created this website after noticing, through my Facebook group “Analipsi the Place to Be on Crete,” that many visitors were looking for clear and reliable information about Analipsi and the surrounding area. A website offers the perfect place to bring that information together in an easy and accessible way.
Why This Guide
Analipsi is more than just a holiday destination. It is a welcoming village with beautiful beaches, traditional tavernas, friendly people and an ideal location for exploring Crete.
I created this guide to bring together useful, honest and practical information in one clear place. My aim is to help visitors discover not only the well-known attractions, but also the atmosphere, local character and special places that make Analipsi worth returning to.
